I have never cried like that because of a guy! I shocked myself today...
Last night the bf and I got into a huge argument, he even raised his voice. Something he doesn't do then after a while of pure silence he apologized for raising his voice and I apologized too then we fell asleep on the phone. So this morning I get a text from him asking if he can come over this morning and I told him sure. About five minutes later he was at my door (we do live too damn close lol). We were cuddling on the sofa and out of nowhere tears just started streaming down. It set in that he was leaving for the marines tomorrow. He held on to me tight and said "Please D stop crying" but I just couldn't hold it in. Being the clown he is he started cracking jokes and lightening up the mood which made me laugh of course (he always knew how to make me feel better). He then said "D I'm coming back to you" and I teared up once again, this time with the sniffing and all lol. I just couldn't believe I was crying this hard over him. I laid in his arms and we was watching the world cup and it was on halftime. Of all the commercial that they could of shown they chose to show the Marine commercial and of course I began to tear up again. After the commercial he just kissed me and wiped my tears.

He had to leave and about 30 minutes after he left he calls me and tell me to come outside real quick. So I went out and he gave me a bag and said love you and sped off. I opened to to find an ipod armband case and started laughing. He called and said they didn't have the regular kind anymore and was like since she do play sports she will need and plus now it will encourage me to do my daily run that I suppose to be doing over the summer lol. I hope I see him tonight and if not then tomorrow morning definitely. I'm really going to miss him. On Thursday we went on a double date with one of his bestfriends and in the car me and him was just jamming and finishing each other sentences then his friend says "Damn Nnenna I will hate to see you the same time next week". I almost turned around and back handed him then my bf was like don't mind him. I guess his friend was right, I better listen to Wake me up when September ends because that's when he is coming back. Time for me to go download that song lol

I'll be able to say, I'm the girlfriend of a Marine =D

So I just need to rant right now so people please bare with me. Why is it that there is always a certain group of friends at everyone's school who strives for attention and believe they are omnipotent to everyone else? At my school there is this group that just love to talk about other people and it just about makes their day. I'm the kind of person that is nice to everyone so I "associate" with them but I won't call it a friendship because for starters I don't trust none of them. In my opinion they really have no life because they use other people's flaws to bring excitement into their lives and also mask the many flaws they bare also.

Facebook beefing is sooo old now && frankly I am getting tired of the going back and forth (exactly why I limit some of the people I add to my facebook). In my opinion there is no use to slick diss anyone of facebook but when you guys meet in person both parties act like they don't see  the other. You were talking all that on facebook please act upon it. Another thing they do is gossip gossip gossip. I would be lying if I say I can't stand people who gossip because everyone gossip at one point in their life but the thing that gets me is when EVERY word that comes out of you mouth is gossip. Where the hell did you here that from?

They just think that they are above everyone and thus have the right to talk trash. They tried to come at me with that foolishness freshman year and I had to shut it down. I don't do all the talking first of all, no need to go around telling people who I don't like. Say something to me and then that's when you going to really hear Nnenna. Talking about other people DOES NOT make you better then them or cooler. You just have issues that you fail to acknowledge so you have to hide it by conversing with your ignorant friends about others.

Okay so I think I feel better now =)

People say my demeanor has change, I say I'm just in a state of BLISS. Finally found someone who I can give my all to && he treats me like a QUEEN =). I guess it shows heavily but I'm not complaining

to my surprise.

Ok so I use to be a proud owner of a purple Ipod nano. Man I loved that ipod. Then two weeks before school got out some bum at NCHS stole my ipod!!! I was heated for a moment then I realized that it was just a material possession and I lived before it so I can live without it. Well my boyfriend constantly messed with me about it, saying stuff like "Man our beat all their ass if it was me, its just some shit they just not suppose to do" and I'll tell him chillll out it really isn't that serious.

Well last Friday I was talking to him and he was like have you heard. I'm looking like heard what. He then says never mind you'll find out later. So being the person I am I'm like WTF don't do that mess. He knows I can't stand it. He then says you will find out sometime next week just relax. How am I suppose to relax after you just worked me up huh! Yesterday he asked me if I was working Wednesday and I said naw, he then ask if I want to chill with him then and I replied yesssss =D but he added it has to be after noon and I'm like ummm yeah ok. Well yesterday night I brought it back up and said man tell me already it's next week. I began to get an attitude with him and he was like damn D, I got you another Ipod. I'm like man be serious what is it and I"m not playing. He says that's it, it was suppose to be a surprise. Now at this point I'm just happy like you shouldn't have baby and he says I know but I chose to because when you lost yours you didn't bitch and go on and on about it. He then says it comes in Wednesday before noon, everything started clicking. My Ralph then said he couldn't get my name inscribed on the back like the other one and they ran out of purple so he got orange. Now I really don't care much for orange but an Ipod is an Ipod plus who am I to be picky. I was so happy last night.

A few minutes ago I was eating breakfast and I hear a knock at the door. I'm like who the heck is knocking at the door right now so I go answer  to find the UPS lady there murdering my name like its the hardest thing in the world. Anyway I'm like awww it came in early. So I'm happy opening it up but the package is bigger than the typical Ipod Nano package. I opened it to find a brand new Ipod Touch!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. And on the back my name is inscribed and it says from RKO. I almost started crying. He have to complete community service today so I texted him with his last name in all caps then I sent another text saying you are such a liar. He replied saying what I lie about and I said. "I got an ipod just like your old one except its orange. I couldn't get your name on it either but at least its something". He replied "lol I'm guessing it came in earlier". He then called me a couple of minutes later and was like damn I can tell you blushing, calm down lol. He told me that it was also his going away gift since he leaving in two weeks for the Marines and that he loves me more than anything. I said Thank you and he replied "Anything for you D". He definitely made my day, week, and month! Now I can't wait to go out with him Wednesday. BLISS.

I have a new guilty pleasure! I have fell for the new ABC Family series "Pretty Little Liars". I missed the premiere on Tuesday so I ended up having to watch it on the internet yesterday (Thnk the Lord for technology). The show makes you want to watch so you can unravel all the secrets. From how Allison went missing to the Gina secret. I just hope its not one of those series that falls off with me && I start losing interest. So you can catch me watching this show every week now lol

scariest thing that ever happened to me.

This morning I was awaken by a call from my love. He asked if I was still tired and I said yess so he told me to go back to bed. We hung up and in less than a minute he text me apologizing for last night because I kind of got upset about the fact that we don't talk on the phone at night like that anymore because he is always tired. When I read his apology I felt like I was being selfish. He works for most of the day then goes out and play soccer (Love && Soccer =]), so of course he would be tired plus yesterday he had to take his little brother to the hospital because he wasn't feeling well. I gave him a bad attitude last night and when he apologized for not talking to me as much I felt horrible. So I told him he shouldn't be sorry for anything and he said well I am because I don't want to lose you over something so stupid. I told him that he won't and he said sometimes he wonder. This caught me off guard completely. Now he is the type of person that doesn't really show emotions and is real nonchalant when it comes to his relationships. Then out of the blue he tells me this. I asked him why would he think I would leave him, he said that he don't know its just a feeling and he is also scared that when he goes to the Marines that I'm going to get tired and bored of waiting for him. He almost had me in tears because I wasn't use to this side of him at all!!! My Ghanaian is a straight goon (our insider lol). So I assured him that yeah I might get bored but that's why I'm going to keep myself occupied with things to do so time can fly by. He replied saying ok and "i really do love you D. I'm in love with you". This was the line that broke me down. I just couldn't believe it at all!!! (He calls me D, last name begins with that letter). I told him wooooow and he just said yeah I know.

So we changed subject matter and I started to doze back off. Out of nowhere (NO LIE) I heard his voice saying "damn D you falling asleep on me" being half asleep I was just like yeahhhh. He then said "alright D, love you". It was like a light bulb flashed and I got up quick. I was like WTH! That mess was sooooo scary, I immediately called him and told him. He started laughing and said I guess you in love too huh. I just smiled =)

I realized that when it comes to friends I mostly have guy friends. Don't get me wrong I do get along with females but I just don't trust them. It's easier for me to trust a male before I trust a female with my emotions. This could also be the fact that I am some what of a tomboy so I hang around guys a lot because we connect. I'm not really the kind to sit and talk about girly things. I rather debate about sports with the guys, I know sad huh? But that's what keeps me happy =). Anyways I do have 2 females that I can really call a friend and when I have something bothering me I could go to. But my main bestfriend who knows EVERYTHING about me is of course a guy. I love him like no other. Its crazy though because when a girl have guys as friends, other females all of a sudden start assuming shidd. Seriously, I don't have to have sexx with anyone for them to enjoy my company sorry if you do. The main ones talking are the same ones wishing they were in my shoes and had that type of relationship instead of the fuck and go relationship they have instead.

So these are the reasons I believe a guy friend is better (MY OPINION):

• They aren't so quick to judge like many females these days.
• They LISTEN and don't go running their mouth to the next person they see.
• We can discuss other issues besides clothes, makeup, && hair. Don't get me wrong I have no problem with that it's just I don't want that to be the topic of our conversation all the time.
• The guys I talk to aren't into all that drama 
• Get a better insight when it comes to guys =). You getting it straight from the source!
• Can participate in physical activities. I can't stand going to the movies like that, when I go out I want to have fun. Paintball fighting, rock climbing, boxing...I told you i'm a tomboy lol
• They aren't so damn NEEDY! && Less Favors. I don't mind doing a favor for someone but when it becomes a constant hassle I get annoyed

This is it for now. Male friends are better for me but I still believe its healthy to still have those girlfriends also. I do get frustrated when thirsty females say things like naww it has to be more going on between them. Trick you don't know anything! Stop running off at the mouth...

emory college.

this post is solely dedicated to my future school!
In the fall of 2011 I plan on attending Emory College of Emory University!
Yupp I plan on being a future Emory Freshman. Well at first, entering high school, I wanted to go to Spelman which don't get me wrong is a pretty nice school. Then I took a college visit there and then to Emory and I fell in love with Emory instantly. I love the atmosphere and its just a place I can see myself at plus it offers a great education!

 It truely is as beautiful as it seems...my paradise after high school =)

 Words hold power and I declare today that I WILL be attending Emory. No ifs or buts about it!
I came back because I failed to mention:
I'M ON S E N I O R STATUS !
...and it feels good =)

lesson in love.

So recently I learned a life lesson when it comes to being in a relationship. A lot of people including myself go through that one guy that has extra baggage and you have to decided whether its time to let that ship leave the dock and sail on or keep it at bay. In my opinion it all depends on the circumstance you are in. Everyone's is different! If the person is still leading the ex on and making the female believe something is still going to be there then I suggest you cut the rope and let him go, but on the other hand though if the female is the persistent one and is just out to break up the relationship because of her jealousy issues or what ever it may be, then I suggest you stay and fight for it. Again I say it depends on the person and the circumstance. My circumstance made me fight and not give up and honestly I am happy I did. I don't regret anything at all!

The lesson I learned on the other hand is: Don't ever feel that you have to compete against an ex! This is so true. If they are truly an ex then there is a reason why. A lot of females see their ex with another girl and say things like "Ooh she will never be like me". Well now I know (thanks to him) why that is the wrong thing to say. First of all you are an ex for a reason so why would the person want the exact same thing they had especially when the individual wasn't of a positive factor in their life. You think you making yourself sound good but in reality the guy is probably say "And I Thank God she is nothing like you".

As a girl that have been through dealing with the extra baggage all I can say is that you are with him for a reason. Don't allow anyone's childish, foolish ways stop you from trying something new because you never know where it can take you. If you feel like I have to compete against her if I plan on keeping him well then he is doing something wrong or you have self-esteem issues. The guy should ALWAYS make you feel like the first an only priority [when it comes to females that is]. If you not feeling it then more than likely something is wrong there. I have learned to allow people to be ignorant and make themselves look like a fool without my help and I do admit that it does feel good. Sooner or later she will realize how childish she is looking in the eyes of others and move on with her life.

Again ladies DON'T EVER FEEL THE NEED TO COMPETE AGAINST AN EX! THEY ARE AN EX FOR A REASON...
don't allow the bitch to turn you psycho. its not cute at all. Stay true to you and silence is a killer. Let her talk...truthfully only her friends will find it entertaining, everyone else will find it childish =)

• Post a Picture && Say You Look Ugly- you really want everyone attention to reassure you that you not ugly eh?
• Promoting Parties on People's Wall- There is an event option that you can use. Don't post no mess saying "Calling All Ladies..." because I will delete you. Thank you =]
• Butchered English- I understand we living in a time of txt talk but that does not give you the right to just butcher the English language to the point where we don't even understand you damn status! English 101
• Inspirational Status- I have no problem with people putting up inspirational statuses but what I don't like is when the individual doesn't practice what they speak on facebook. They just post it to get people to like their status so they feel important knowing in reality they the complete opposite.
• Random Request- People who send someone a friend request and have not one single friend in common. Do you really think I'm about to accept you?? Nawwwwwwwww
• Conversation Starters- Don't start a conversation with me whether it's via IM, messages, or wall and not reply when I took my time to reply to you!

I just realized that today is the first of June!
The month I have been dreading for two months...ugh!
The countdown begins for the day my love have to leave, June 28th. Its like the closer it gets the scarier it seems. I didn't think much of it when we first got together because it was still a way to go but now it is setting in. I know you guys tired of hearing me ramble on and on about it but damn I think about it constantly these days.
I'm trying to go back to Boston by the end of June so it can take my mind off him leaving a bit then when I come back to Atlanta I will be busy with school. Have to keep myself busy so I can get through it.

The Ri-Ci Abs Challenge!

okay guys so I am officially on a mission for this summer! So I am a petitie girl....5'7 && 130lbs and people do compliment me on my figure which I do appreciate but I would love to work a little on my stomach.

Yes, yes, yes I want those Ciara six-pack abs lol.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have no disgusting midsection but i do have a little thing going on that I want to get rid of. I already do work out but its more of cardio and not really concentrated on my midsection.

I DON'T want to lose weight...repeat I DON'T want to lose any weight at all. I love my figure and size quite fine.

 And I can't forget Ms. Rihanna either...!

Okay so the Abs Challenge have officially begin. I will be getting together a little regimen on how I plan on achieving my Ri-Ci (lol) abs!
