Why do you feel so Unpretty??

Wassup with this whole sexting phase. It seems like everyone is talking about it and i'm just like what's the hype. Being a Tyra Fan that I am lol. I was watching the show and that episode was basically on sexting and teens. At first I was like ummm ok yea then as they started getting into it I was shocked. She had grown women read the text messages that were sent by these teens. The youngest being thirteen who also admitted that she was bisexual. These young ladies where just too explicit. They took the phrase to a whole knew definition. Talking about putting this in their mouths and being on top and this and that. That was a shame. I felt bad for their mother's who was also on the show. They were crying their hearts out saying they raised them better and the usually. Some of these girls said it like they didn't care and what's the big deal about it. My whole thing is that when you put something out there to just anyone it is extremely difficult to get it back. You never know when it might come up in the future to harm you. One girl said she waste no time in sending nude pictures to boys and i'm just like are you serious?? Random guys?? Why?? Then they came out and admitted that they don't feel pretty and there is a lack of self-confidence so they feel as though when they send explicit pics then they get the young man's attention. This is so sad.

Personally I have had issues with this. For instance guys on myspace that upload their penis. You must really like the attention huh?? If you have to go naked or half naked to get attention from people then you have an internal issue. You have girls on myspace almost completely naked just so that they can get friend request from guys!!! How do you know the guy isn't just their for your body and what he can gain?? I dont know about anyone else but I would love for a guy to like me for my brain and beauty. I won't to talk to someone that don't just look at me as a sex object but also as a respectful young lady. Respect is something that is lacked in this generation. I still tell guys if you want to talk to me first of all you have to be respectful. Thats the most important thing.

Your body is something that you shouldn't just put on public display for the whole world to see. And I also feel as though people like putting the blame on girls only and not forget about the disgusting young "boys" that be displaying their male body parts. Save that for some desperate girl please. I'm a young lady that has respect for herself so approach me as such. I wish that girls would stop feeling so unpretty....go listen to TLC damn lmao. But seriously this is a very serious issue that can only be solved by mother's or guardians teaching these young girls about respect for theirselve. I know some do and the girls still do what they want well keep trying maybe one day it will set in.
